I plan on doing more interviews with young NHites this summer.

By the way, I find it interesting how most of the people who were peddling gold in the Manchester area not that long ago are now peddling silver. A clown car carrying a load of dangerous, self serving sociopathic clowns.

In a normal world, we would be, and have been, at opposite ends of the political spectrum. In fact, I often thought your rants to be just a bit short of lunacy. Not this time. Nope....you are dead on.

Until this most recent bit of insanity struck New Hampshire, I was a right of center conservative that tended Republican.

The current incarnation of our NH House has left me angry and frightened at the potential outcomes of their ultra right wing free stater politics.

Over a year ago I decided not to vote for another R in NH or elsewhere until they regain control of their party.
Hopefully, more people will see the light. Maybe the DB "resignation" will be the final straw for the average voter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19923729.post-89339309807666071992012-06-07T21:11:04.905-04:002012-06-07T21:11:04.905-04:00Julia, thank you for the video links. This is a very cool thing you're doing. I haven't gotten to Matt yet.

I would encourage everyone to listen to those interviews. We don't hear the voices of our young people nearly often enough in NH.

PS - I love the term "gold peddlers."susanthehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05960705109051557790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19923729.post-58949488428727280022012-06-07T19:31:06.749-04:002012-06-07T19:31:06.749-04:00Appalling and dispicable take on whole new meaning...Appalling and dispicable take on whole new meanings when the (wrong) Right are in charge. It's incredible that they scream about ethics, morality, pro-life and the bible, and then do exactly the total opposite. Are their characters so fraudulent that they actually cannot see how their actions are bordering on criminal, let alone plain wrong? The people to blame more, are their followers and those who vote for them. I desperately hope this bunch can be voted out, but after WI I almost can't believe in the voting "system" which may be so rigged in their favor (2000 W), that we are witnessing the final takeover of our nation by a fanatical right wing headed up by the G. Norquist/Koch clans.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19923729.post-20914213047247819032012-06-07T18:43:31.033-04:002012-06-07T18:43:31.033-04:00I fear for the futures of people living in NH. The...I fear for the futures of people living in NH. The state legislature has gone insane. Bettencourt's scandal is kind of funny, especially for me since we went to the same high school years back (he actually graduated the year before I started, but still).

Today, I posted a few videos of interviews I did with young people who live in NH (only two thus far, but one of them is loading on to my facebook and I should post it on there as well) about the concerns they have on my blog. What came up in every single one was the fact that young people have NO incentive to keep living in NH with how things are right now, not just the political climate and the economy but also the lack of any kind of youth culture here. My friend Mark (first video) even went so far to agree with me that NH is on the verge of experiencing a major "brain drain" due to the continuing exodus of college-educated young people.Julia Riber Pitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03006439247714055292noreply@blogger.com
