Two Gun Tasker Strikes Again 2016

NH State Representative Kyle Tasker has covered himself and his party (GOP) with glory on a number of occasions. Like when he dropped his gun on the floor when he was assigned to the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

Kyle's on a different committee now, the House Committee on Children and Family Law.

And he's just been charged with trying to lure a 14 year old for sex. From NECN

A New Hampshire lawmaker has been charged with trying to lure a 14-year-old for sex.

State Rep. Kyle Tasker, a Republican from Nottingham, is also facing three felony level drug possession charges, according to Nottingham Police Chief Gunnar Foss.

One hopes that Speaker Jasper will remove Tasker from the committee charged with protecting children.

Update: Jasper is calling on Tasker to resign, and so is Jennifer Horn, NHGOP chair. I didn't think there was any action a Republican could take that was so repugnant that Horn wouldn't turn a blind eye to it. Apparently soliciting sex with a minor was too much, even for Horn.

Union Leader:

Prosecutor Stephanie Ilberg-Lamm said the investigation began after Nottingham police were notified on Jan. 20 about an allegation that Tasker had sexually harassed a young female.

Police then began working with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. A law enforcement officer posing as a 14-year-old girl communicated with Tasker online and made arrangements to meet at a location on Lucas Pond Road in Nottingham on Tuesday, according to Ilberg-Lamm.
She said he drove to the location, where he was arrested. He was armed with a loaded gun, she said.

Tasker thought he was meeting up with a 14 year old girl. And of course, he needed to have a gun with him.

In the UL comment section, Rep. Felonious Max Abramson, (R-FreeState) is castigating the police for setting up a sting. Apparently poor young Kyle was POWERLESS in this situation.  The police forced him to try to solicit sex with a child. He had no choice.
