AHIP Pollster Interrupted By Singing Troupe Of Protesters

AHIP Pollster Interrupted By Singing Troupe Of Protesters

From Sam Stein at Huffington Post:

Republican pollster Bill McInturff was the keynote speaker on the final day of the America's Health Insurance Plans's state issues conference on Friday morning.
But his speech on how the health care reform debate was playing among the public was interrupted before it even began. A group of protesters began aggressively cheering McInturff for the work he has done for AHIP (he's a hired pollster for the private insurance lobby and, most infamously, was the force behind the 'Harry and Louise' ads in 1994)

Then they start to sing. This is brilliant! This is just the kind of clever protesting we need to be doing:

Are they kidding? They ought to be ashamed of themselves pimping their voices and wannabee Broadway talent for denying the likes me and millions others health care. Political prostitution is playing out right in front of our eyes.

This past Wed. Oprah did an international show and interviewed individuals in Copenhagen. She asked them about their taxes of 50-60%, and their free education and health care. Their responses said it all. "We believe that to offer free health care and education to all our citizens is CIVILIZED".

DOUBLE WHAMMY to those pro lifers and right wing holier than thou church goers - in Denmark most of their churches are empty!! They leave their babies and children outdoors unattended to benefit from fresh air in clement weather. When Oprah asked them about child molesters they looked puzzled and said they had not heard of incidents like that.

So, perhaps Limbaugh, Beck and that collective club of idiots should pay a visit to that country and get an education. I know they can afford the travel.
