They didn't listen.
From Buzzfeed:
A Republican Super PAC prominently features a game on their website that allows users to slap former secretary of state and possible 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton across the face. The game is being hosted on the website for The Hillary Project, an anti-Clinton Super PAC that lists its address in Nashua, New Hampshire, according to FEC filings, and has Christopher M. Marston, a Republican campaign finance consultant and former member of the Bush administration, as its treasurer.
The website states that the game was “Created and produced by The SlapHillary Team,” and began spamming reporters to its existence Monday with the tweet, “Have you slapped Hillary today?”
Once again, the NH GOP covers our state with glory! After all, what is funnier than slapping women?
According to the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence:
-
Nearly one in four women in New Hampshire has
been sexually assaulted.
-
At least a third of New Hampshire women have been
the victim of a physical assault by an intimate partner.
-
More than half of all women in our state have experienced sexual and/or physical assault over the
course of their lifetime
That just makes you want to roll on the floor laughing, doesn't it? Haw, haw, haw! Slapping bitches! lol, lol, lol, amirite?
Last week we had a couple of jerks on the House legislative email listserve objectifying women, and antagonizing their female colleagues. They've done a lot of tap dancing and pretending it was a joke but they haven't apologized. Most normal people upon learning that they'd upset their co-workers, would be very apologetic. Not these guys. They're too busy snapping towels at each other in the locker room that they call the House legislative email.
And now, after last week's debacle, we have another crew of GOP frat boys suggesting that you need to slap Hillary today.
One begins to wonder - is there a bottom to the well of cringe inducing crap that the men of the NH GOP can come up with? And is there anything the women of the GOP won't turn a blind eye to?
